Biennial EBS partner conference in Edinburgh

Representatives of Kyiv campus of Edinburgh Business School have participated in the international EBS conference in Edinburgh. Learning partners, collaborative partners, representatives from regional offices and alumni reps gathered in for a three-day event to learn about the School’s new programmes and build networks.

The attendees travelled from Ukraine, Jamaica, Singapore, Mauritius etc to join the conference attended by delegates from fifteen countries.

During the opening session, the delegates were addressed by Edinburgh Business School’s Executive Dean, Professor Heather McGregor, Principal of Heriot-Watt University, Professor Richard Williams and Head of School of Social Sciences, Professor Robert MacIntosh.

The session allowed Partners to learn about the exciting developments at the School and University, as it is upgrading EBS online programme delivery and working on the implementation of the University’s Strategy2025. The session was followed by a presentation by the Edinburgh Business School team, providing an overview of the new courses, learning platform and programme structures. During the conference the delegates also had the opportunity to learn more about curriculum design and face-to-face delivery models.

As ever, Edinburgh Business School’s priority is to work with Partners from around the world who share the vision of an enhanced student experience, while introduction of initiatives aimed at improving engagement with current students and the Heriot-Watt alumni community.
